We're working with a globally recognised design practice seeking a talented Masterplanner to join its growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with strong masterplanning experience to contribute to ambitious mixed-use developments, waterfronts, hospitality destinations and large-scale urban projects across the Middle East and international markets.
You'll become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, working alongside experienced architects, urban designers and landscape architects to develop innovative masterplans from concept through to planning. As a Masterplanner, you'll contribute to the design and development of major international projects, supporting senior team members while taking ownership of key stages of the design process. You'll collaborate closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to deliver thoughtful, commercially viable and design-led masterplans.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the design and development of large-scale masterplanning, urban design and architecture projects across international markets.
- Prepare high-quality design concepts, diagrams, presentations and reports from early-stage visioning through to planning submissions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and innovative design solutions.
- Support client meetings, workshops and presentations with clear visual and verbal communication.
- Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, engineers and consultants throughout project delivery.
- Assist in managing project programmes and deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Produce compelling graphics, 3D models and presentation material to communicate design ideas.
- Contribute to competitions, bids and design studies as part of the studio's continued growth.
Skills & Experience- Degree in Architecture, Urban Design or a related discipline.
- Approximately 3-6 years' professional experience within masterplanning, urban design or large-scale mixed-use projects.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and well-resolved masterplanning projects.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design ideas clearly.
- Experience on international projects or Middle Eastern developments would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design software.
- Strong graphic, conceptual and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
