We're working with an award-winning design studio seeking an experienced Senior Architect/Associate to join its growing team, based from London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of high-end hospitality and hotel projects, working from concept through to completion on a diverse portfolio of UK and international schemes.
As an Senior Architect/Associate, you'll play a key leadership role across multiple projects, overseeing technical delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors. You'll also mentor junior team members, helping to maintain exceptional design quality and technical standards across the studio.
This role would suit a confident and commercially minded Interior Architect who thrives in a collaborative, design-led environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from feasibility through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of hospitality and hotel projects across multiple RIBA stages.
- Manage projects from feasibility through to completion, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
- Produce, review and coordinate high-quality technical drawing packages using Revit.
- Work closely with interior designers, consultants, contractors and suppliers to deliver coordinated design solutions.
- Lead client meetings, design workshops, site visits and project coordination throughout construction.
- Oversee technical detailing, material selection and specification to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while monitoring progress, deadlines and project resources.
- Mentor and support junior members of the architectural team, encouraging professional development and maintaining technical standards.
- Identify project risks and implement practical solutions throughout the design and construction process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of studio processes, technical standards and project delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Interior Architect, ideally within hospitality, hotels or high-end commercial interiors.
- Strong technical knowledge of the RIBA design process and UK Building Regulations.
- Excellent Revit and AutoCAD proficiency is essential.
- Experience producing detailed technical and construction drawing packages.
- Hospitality and hotel project experience is essential.
- Experience working to LOD 300 standards would be advantageous.
- Strong project management and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
