Smith Home is hiring a part-time, freelance Interior Designer to support the Principle Designer and Team with ongoing residential interior design projects, as well as capture and curate content for the firm's social media. This role will require a wide range of duties and responsibilities (listed below). This is for an individual with a detailed design eye and content creation experience. We are looking for a kind and enthusiastic individual with a great attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will be quick to pick up on the studio’s design aesthetic and share interesting and original design ideas. They will excel at following up with vendors, clients, and designers to ensure all projects and tasks are moving forward and all parties have up-to-date information at all times. The Designer will be responsible for working within a team environment as well as collaborating directly with the Principal Designer. They will work on multiple projects simultaneously, helping clients of various size and scale to achieve their design goals. Candidates with a background in the Interior Design industry are preferred.
