You will play a key role across business development, client relationships, project leadership and studio growth, while overseeing the delivery of complex commercial projects and mentoring teams across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow client relationships across the Melbourne design industry
- Actively identify and secure new business opportunities
- Prepare and lead submissions, pitches and presentations to win work
- Mentor and lead team members across projects
- Oversee project performance including resourcing, profitability and risk management
- Work closely with Directors on studio strategy, sector growth and business planning
- Drive high-quality design and project delivery outcomes across multiple projects
- Contribute to studio culture, leadership and long-term team development
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within architecture or interior design
- Strong existing network within the Melbourne design industry
- Demonstrated track record of winning work and generating new business opportunities
- Strong commercial project experience
- Excellent commercial acumen with experience managing project financials and client relationships
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project leadership
