Join a highly regarded, design-led architecture practice known for delivering thoughtful, impactful projects across multiple sectors. They have a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative studio culture, and are looking for a bids/submissions manager to looks after bids from start to finish. This is a pivotal role within the team, working closely with senior architects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deadlines, storytelling, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and coordination of submissions including tenders, EOIs, panel applications, grants and fee proposals from end to end.
- Write, edit and produce high-quality, on-brand submission documents ensuring full compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Manage submission schedules, tracking systems and portal lodgements while coordinating inputs from directors, project teams and consultants.
- Maintain and continuously improve the bid library, including CVs, case studies, capability statements, templates and standard responses.
- Oversee pipeline tracking, reporting, win/loss analysis and feedback integration to improve conversion and submission outcomes over time.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering bids, tenders or submissions within architecture, engineering, construction or a similar project-based environment.
- Strong writing, editing and document production skills with advanced layout capability and a sharp eye for detail and compliance.
- Confident managing multiple deadlines and complex submissions while coordinating input from senior stakeholders and external consultants.
- Experience maintaining CRMs, bid libraries and submission systems with accuracy and consistency.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive process, chase inputs and keep teams aligned under time pressure.
