Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration and departure experiences for all team members
• Drive the development and implementation of HR policies, frameworks, and initiatives that support studio growth and employee wellbeing
• Provide expert guidance on HR administration, including superannuation, employee records, and associated compliance, to maintain operational excellence
• Partner with leadership and staff to promote engagement, support a positive team culture, and nurture individual professional development
• Oversee talent acquisition efforts, enhancing recruitment strategies to attract top creative talent aligned with the studio’s values
• Manage HR-related insurance and administrative functions, simplifying complex processes for maximum clarity and efficiency
• Continuously review and refine HR workflows to create a more accessible, transparent, and employee-focused experience
• Act as a trusted, approachable point of contact for staff, fostering open dialogue and employee trust within a hybrid work environment

Skills & Experience
• Strong HR/professional experience within creative, design, or comparable studio environments, with a genuine passion for people management
• Proven ability to embed HR processes in a small-to-medium creative organisation, balancing structure with a flexible, approachable style
• Excellent interpersonal skills - friendly, proactive, and confident engaging with diverse teams and leadership alike
• Well-versed in HR administration, policies, and compliance, including superannuation and employment law fundamentals
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and familiar with HR software platforms (desirable but not mandatory)
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and discreet when handling sensitive matters
