Showroom Sales Consultant - Tiles and Surfaces

A leading supplier of premium tiles and surfacing solutions is seeking a vibrant and upbeat candidate to be at the heart of the showroom experience, engaging directly with clients and helping them discover the perfect surfaces for their projects.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personalised consultations and expert advice to walk-in and trade appointment clients
Manage a portfolio of Interior Design clients, offering tailored surface solutions aligned with their project needs
Enhance sales by nurturing relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and excellent client service
Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales opportunities within CRM systems
Support showroom merchandising and visual displays, reflecting the brand’s premium aesthetic and inspiring clientele
Assist in product launches and marketing initiatives, helping to increase brand engagement and awareness among trade and retail customers

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in customer-facing sales roles, ideally within retail, interior design, or architectural product sectors; applications from related fields are welcome
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical specifications patiently and clearly
Proficiency in CRM software and familiarity with sales pipeline management
An interest in interior surfaces, architecture, or design is preferred
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to client service
Comfortable working on-site in a showroom environment, with occasional client visits or industry events
A motivated team player with a commitment to professional development and growth
