Interior Designer Selldorf Architects is an internationally recognized architecture and interior design firm based in New York City’s Union Square. The firm’s portfolio spans a broad range of project types and scales, including high-end residential, cultural, and institutional work, encompassing both new construction and the sensitive renovation of historically significant buildings. We are currently seeking an Interior Designer for full-time employment. The ideal candidate will possess a refined sense of design, color, materiality, and spatial composition, along with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and detail. Equally important is the ability to collaborate thoughtfully with clients, consultants, and colleagues in advancing the aesthetic vision and character of Selldorf Architects Interiors. The position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to highly detailed and carefully considered interiors with a strong emphasis on architecture, furniture, art, and material integration. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Contribute across all phases of interior design, from concept development through procurement and installation. • Manage multiple projects within a rigorous and collaborative design environment. • Prepare design presentations, renderings, material palettes, and client-facing presentations. • Develop interior design concepts for projects ranging from high-end residential to museum and cultural work. • Design furniture layouts and select furnishings, fabrics, finishes, and decorative elements for client and internal review. • Develop custom furniture concepts, drawings, and renderings. • Coordinate and manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, proposals, budgeting, and vendor communication, utilizing Studio Designer software. • Oversee deliveries, installations, and project coordination through completion. • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, vendors, fabricators, and internal
