A highly respected architecture and urban design practice is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of human capital management and organizational development. This leadership role will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting creative and professional services organizations and will play a key role in fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture that supports the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all human resources functions across the organization.

Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the firm's business objectives and long-term growth plans.

Oversee recruitment efforts, workforce planning, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.

Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and develop talent acquisition strategies.

Manage employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.

Oversee performance management processes, employee development programs, and succession planning initiatives.

Administer compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs to ensure competitiveness within the market.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Develop and maintain employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.

Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes collaboration, engagement, and professional growth.

Lead diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.

Manage HR systems, employee records, and reporting processes.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and employee matters.

Skills and Experience:

5+ years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership-level responsibility.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience within architecture, design, engineering, construction, real estate, or other professional services environments is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience leading recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and performance management programs.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executive leadership and provide strategic HR guidance.
