The Job • Assist design professionals in sourcing fabrics, wallcoverings and other Romo Group products appropriate for their individual projects. • Schedule and conduct regular in-studio product presentations, including approximately 3–4 major collection launch cycles per year. • Develop a strategic call cycle that ensures consistent coverage of existing customers while creating time for new business development. • Build strong, meaningful and genuine relationships with customers and become a trusted resource within the greater design community. • Grow Romo's customer base through research, referrals, networking, social media, industry involvement and proactive prospecting. • Identify high-potential accounts and develop specific strategies to increase penetration and sales. • Manage designer sample libraries through à la carte sampling and other sales and marketing tools, ensuring Romo products remain visible, current and easy to specify. • Establish customer-level sales targets, monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth. • Meet or exceed mutually agreed-upon annual sales goals. • Maintain accurate and timely records of customer activity, opportunities and sales calls within our CRM. • Prepare a quarterly territory review outlining performance, opportunities, priorities and action plans for accounts requiring additional attention. • Monitor competitive activity and provide meaningful market feedback to management. • Demonstrate integrity and a relentless commitment to world-class customer service. • Actively participate in industry events and become a visible member of the local design community. • Manage the territory with a high degree of independence, accountability and sound judgment. • Report to senior management.
