Mithun, Inc. seeks an Interior Designer in San Francisco, CA to perform the following duties:
Produce concept imagery, diagrams, sketches, space plans, furniture plans and conceptual and finished design presentation documentation; Select interior finishes, furniture, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting; Practice a concept-based approach to interior design; Contribute as a core member of project teams that include Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers, Urban Designers, and related disciplines; Collaborate across multiple disciplines throughout the design process; Act as a primary design interface with clients and consultants; and Coordinate with project teams, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within established budgets; Produce detailed architectural drawings, graphic design work, renderings and visualizations. Telecommuting within the area of intended employment up to 1 day per week. Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time.
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, and other closely related degrees, and 2 years of experience in Interior architecture and design. Must have 2 years of experience in the following skills: Creating design concepts and producing visual materials, including concept imagery, diagrams, hand sketches, space and furniture plans, 3D models, renderings, and complete conceptual and final presentation packages; AutoCAD or Revit to produce construction-ready drawings, and 2 years of experience with visualization software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or Lumion to produce graphics, visualizations, and presentation materials; Sustainable design principles and material-informed interior architecture, including understanding construction methods such as steel frame, cross-laminated timber, and wood framing, and applying them to design and material selection; Producing detailed architectural documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, details, finish schedules, renderings, and graphic design work for interior architecture projects; and Collaborating on multidisciplinary teams, including architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and urban design, to support integrated project solutions. And must have 1 year of experience in the following skills: Working directly with clients, participating in meetings, documenting requirements, presenting solutions, responding to feedback, and contributing to project development across multiple phases; and United States building codes and regulations, and applying this knowledge to interior architectural design and project documentation.
Salry range $84,000.00 - $108,000.00/Year
