Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual development of interior schemes for significant projects, translating visionary ideas into detailed, technical designs that resonate with the studio’s signature holistic approach.
- Manage the technical delivery of interior design solutions using Revit, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely progress across all project phases.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—architecture, engineering, and client representatives—to optimise design strategies that are innovative, functional, and sustainable.
- Oversee material selection, specifications, and FF&E integration, ensuring coherence with design intent and budget parameters.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a learning environment that encourages creative growth and technical skill development.
- Play a vital role in client presentations and design reviews, articulating ideas clearly and persuasively to achieve buy-in and project success.
- Contribute to the refinement and implementation of internal design standards, supporting the studio’s pursuit of excellence and sustainability goals.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5–6 years’ professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating workplace, hospitality, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp, with a solid understanding of their application within complex design workflows.
- Strong conceptual thinking, complemented by an adept understanding of materials, finishes, building systems, and codes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of managing client relationships and presenting ideas convincingly.
- Experience leading design teams and delivering projects from concept to construction documentation.
- A commitment to sustainable design practices; familiarity with LEED or other green building standards is advantageous.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; professional accreditation or licensure preferred.
