This opportunity is for a Sales and Business Development Manager, Private Clients (NYC) role with a global leader in fitness, wellness, and health technology. The position is focused on driving new business development and managing high-end client relationships throughout the Greater New York City market, with a particular emphasis on building partnerships within the residential architecture and interior design community. This is a highly visible, field-based role that offers the opportunity to represent a premium product portfolio while developing strategic relationships and delivering customized wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding revenue goals within the assigned territory.
Deliver a premium customer experience through strong product expertise and consultative selling.
Promote and tailor wellness solutions to meet the unique needs of clients and local market opportunities.
Partner with the Marketing team to support regional campaigns, events, and business development initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular in-person meetings and outreach.
Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and prospecting through closing and follow-up.
Expand business opportunities by developing relationships with architects, interior designers, personal trainers, and other referral partners.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with showroom networks and luxury furniture brands.
Address customer concerns proactively and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service.
Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline management within Salesforce CRM.
Coordinate with logistics, service, retail, and inside sales teams to create a seamless customer journey.
Collaborate with the in-house design team to develop customized home fitness space layouts.
Gather and communicate market feedback to support ongoing business growth and strategy.
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of sales or account management experience within a luxury retail, design, or high-end consumer products environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong business development skills with a proven ability to identify, cultivate, and close new opportunities.
Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets.
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities, including experience engaging executive-level stakeholders.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Strong networking and partnership-development capabilities, with knowledge of local markets and relationship-driven sales strategies.
Experience utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce; familiarity with SAP is beneficial.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
