This is not a support role. It’s an opportunity for an experienced designer to take ownership of incredible residential projects, lead client relationships, collaborate closely with the Principal Designer, and help shape the future of a growing firm known for thoughtful, elevated interiors. We’re looking for someone who loves the details as much as the big picture. Someone who can lead a client meeting in the morning, review cabinetry drawings in the afternoon, problem-solve with a contractor on-site, and still keep the design vision crystal clear throughout the process. What You'll Do You'll lead high-end residential projects from concept through installation, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and the internal project team. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading the creative vision and design development of residential projects • Designing highly detailed kitchens and bathrooms that align with NKBA standards and best practices • Managing project timelines, budgets, procurement, and installation coordination • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, cabinetmakers, and vendors • Presenting design concepts with confidence and professionalism • Directing and mentoring junior team members • Proactively solving problems before they become obstacles • Ensuring every project reflects the firm's design standards and level of service
