GRECODECO is seeking a Senior Interior Designer: Project Lead to join our New York–based studio. This role is central to how we deliver projects and is intended for a designer ready to take on increased ownership and responsibility within a growing practice. The Project Lead will work closely with the Principal to translate design direction into executed work across a range of high-end hospitality and residential projects. This includes leading projects day-to-day, organizing team output, and ensuring that all deliverables are cohesive, resolved, and aligned with the studio’s design intent. Our work is concept-driven and narrative-led, often within historic or architecturally significant contexts. The role requires a strong design sensibility paired with the ability to carry ideas through to detailed resolution. This is a hybrid role that sits between design and execution. The Project Lead will be responsible for developing layouts, guiding FF&E direction, coordinating drawing sets, and managing workflow across all phases of design. They will oversee both in-house and freelance team members and act as a key point of coordination between the studio, consultants, and vendors. A core responsibility is translating high-level creative direction into clear, actionable packages that can be executed by the broader team. The role requires someone who is both design-forward and highly organized, with the ability to move fluidly between big-picture thinking and detailed problem-solving. This position is ideal for a designer looking to step into a leadership role with direct exposure to the Principal and a clear path for growth as the studio expands.
