A highly regarded architecture and design studio in New York City, is seeking a polished, personable, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for their office. This individual will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, clients, and staff while supporting the day-to-day operations of a collaborative and creative studio environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests, visitors, and clients
- Maintain a polished and professional front-of-house experience at all times
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and inquiries appropriately
- Coordinate meeting room schedules and assist with meeting logistics
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and correspondence
- Provide administrative support to the operations and leadership teams as needed
- Assist with planning and coordinating office events and team activities
- Ensure reception and common areas remain organized and presentable
- Liaise with vendors, couriers, and building management
- Monitor office supplies and support general office operations
Skills & Experience:
- Up to 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative support role
- Prior experience within architecture, interior design, or another creative industry preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with office management platforms is a plus
