Bay Area Floors & Design is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Kitchen Designer / Flooring Junior Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both design and project coordination and wants to build a long-term career in the remodeling industry.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Design
- Design kitchens, bathrooms, and cabinetry layouts using 20/20 Design Software
- Meet with clients to understand project goals, budgets, and design preferences
- Create design presentations, renderings, and material selections
- Prepare cabinet quotes and specifications
- Coordinate orders with manufacturers and vendors
Flooring Project Management
- Assist with residential and commercial flooring projects from sale through completion
- Coordinate measurements, scheduling, material deliveries, and installation crews
- Communicate with clients regarding project timelines and updates
- Review plans, specifications, and job site requirements
- Track project progress and resolve issues as they arise
- Assist with estimating and proposal preparation
Qualifications
Required
- Experience with 20/20 Design Software
- Previous kitchen, bath, or cabinet design experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Experience in flooring, construction, remodeling, or interior design
- Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, flooring products, and installation processes
- Experience reading blueprints and construction plans
- Estimating or project coordination experience
