Olivia Erwin Interiors is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Interior Designer based in LA or NYC to join our team immediately. We are a fast-paced, high-end interior design firm working on luxury residential and select commercial projects in New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, London and beyond. Our work is highly detailed, layered and individually tailored to each project, with a strong emphasis on sourcing, materials, custom design and execution. We are looking for someone with real experience working within a sophisticated, high-end residential design studio who can step into active projects and contribute immediately. This is not an entry-level position. The role will touch all aspects of the design process, including space planning, sourcing, furniture and finishes, custom pieces, technical drawings, presentations, vendor coordination, site meetings and installations. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with the creative and execution sides of a project and understands what it takes to carry a high-end residential project from concept through installation. Our studio moves very quickly. This person needs to be comfortable switching between projects and priorities throughout the day while maintaining an extremely high level of detail and accuracy. We need someone who is proactive, resourceful and able to recognize what needs to happen next without waiting to be directed through every step. This position will begin as contract work with an immediate start, with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right person.
