Join a highly regarded boutique practice as an experienced designer with a focus on FF&E and Procurement, working on high-end projects. You will be a detail-oriented and organized professional who thrives in both autonomous and collaborative settings.
You will play a key role in selecting and specifying vintage furniture, fixtures, and equipment that enhance our interior designs. You’ll collaborate closely with our design team, clients, and vendors to curate beautiful and functional spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present FF&E concepts that align with overall design aesthetics.
- Collaborate and communicate with the design team and all stakeholders to manage procurement and delivery of client-supplied items for global retail projects
- Handle multiple tasks concurrently, focusing on high-end residential and retail projects
- Source and select bespoke furniture, fixtures, and equipment from various vendors for high-profile projects
- Develop initial scheduling, documentation and budget costing for FF&E items across multiple projects
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding costings and delivery timelines
- Manage the whole procurement and delivery processes of selected items, including preparation of purchase orders and coordination of shipping, duties and taxes
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in FFE/Procurement design or similar role in the interior design industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and FF&E selections, including experience sourcing bespoke items and working on high-end projects
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time management
- Vectorworks Proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a large design team
- Proficient in Vectorworks
