Designer

RJE has a full time onsite opening for a commericial interior designer in our Cincinnati office. As a designer, you will be responsible for commercial furniture specifications.

Reports to: Senior Leadership

Qualifications:

Interior Design degree – 4 years
1-2 years previous design experience related to the commercial furniture industry, preferred but not required
Proficient with: AutoCAD
Preferred: CET
Preferred: CAP 20/20
Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient with: Microsoft Office suite of products
Critical/creative problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time, at times within limited timeframes

Tasks and responsibilities include:

Client fact finding process and programming
Creating design presentations to support furniture typical specifications
Develop furniture floorplan, specifications, and finish package for approval
Assists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materials
Participates in product evaluation and selection
Provide installation packets
Conducts field measurements
