Home Staging Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and hardworking Home Staging Assistant to join our growing staging and design team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys interiors, design, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will play an important role in preparing, installing, maintaining, and breaking down residential staging projects throughout NYC.
Responsibilities
- Assist with furniture deliveries, installations, and staging projects
- Organize furniture and accessories
- Assist the design team with placing furniture, artwork, rugs, décor, and accessories
- Prepare furniture and accessories for upcoming projects
- Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the inventory through our inventory manager
- Organize and label inventory by item, size, color, and category
- Inspect furniture and décor for damage or wear and report issues to management
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and properly storing furniture and accessories
- Help maintain staging inventory and ensure items are returned to their proper locations
- Assist with staging breakdowns and furniture returns
- Follow project instructions and staging plans carefully
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working in client homes and properties
- Communicate effectively with the staging and design team
- Take photos of completed installations and inventory when requested
- Perform other staging, warehouse, and administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in home staging, interior design, moving, hospitality, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Strong interest in interiors, furniture, and design
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable working in a physically active environment
- Able to travel throughout the tri-state area
- Comfortable working in residential buildings, apartments, and homes throughout NYC
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to follow direction while also being proactive when something needs to be done
