The Role
Working across both the Brisbane showroom and the wider Queensland market, you will be responsible for growing specification opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and identifying new project opportunities. You will become a trusted advisor to architects, designers, and builders, providing expert product knowledge while delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and other industry professionals.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct client meetings, showroom consultations, and on-site presentations.
- Manage project opportunities from initial enquiry through to specification and supply.
- Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and project pipelines using CRM systems.
- Follow up on active opportunities to maximise conversion and sales outcomes.
- Coordinate product samples and assist with showroom merchandising where required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and outstanding customer service.
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in specification sales, architectural products, building materials, interiors, or a related industry.
- A passion for architecture, interior design, and premium products.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
