Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative design concepts and refine solutions based on project goals and client feedback.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of the design process.
- Develop finish palettes, presentation materials, and visualizations.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Prepare FF&E specifications and construction documentation.
- Utilize Revit and other design software to produce drawings, renderings, and presentations.
- Lead small project teams and coordinate design tasks.
- Participate in professional development and industry networking opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
- 5+ years of professional interior design experience within an architecture or interior design firm.
- Experience designing educational environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, materials, finish selections, and interior design principles.
- Proficiency in Revit (required), Enscape, Rhino, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), and other 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation software.
- Experience working through all phases of interior design projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- NCIDQ certified or actively pursuing certification.
