Paloma Contreras Design, an award-winning luxury residential interior design firm based in Houston, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Manager/Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is a full-time, primarily in-office position with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays. Occasional travel to out-of-state project sites will be required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience at a high-end residential interior design firm and possess exceptional technical, organizational, and project management skills. They are an adept multitasker, an effective problem solver, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Successful candidates are polished, proactive, and self-motivated, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. They possess a refined design sensibility, strong professional judgment, and the ability to represent the firm with confidence and discretion when interacting with clients, vendors, consultants, and trades. Day-to-Day Duties will Include, but are not Limited to: - Create and manage project budgets, schedules, installation timelines, and project to-do lists - Prepare materials; schedule and attend client meetings and site visits - Create and maintain paint, lighting, plumbing, hardware, and tile schedules for contractors - Produce furniture plans and elevations in AutoCAD or Revit - Create RFQs for custom furniture and window treatments - Create installation timelines; organize and oversee installations - Review and redline all shop drawings to ensure design intent - Represent firm at meetings with architects, contractors and vendors - Oversee / manage issues with contractors, vendors and clients. Identify and document problem /conflicts and determine solutions - Responsible for providing weekly status reports and be prepared to discuss the status of all orders on all projects at weekly staff meetings
