Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across Sydney projects to ensure seamless integration and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and consultants to optimise BIM execution from conceptual design through construction and handover
- Manage and oversee BIM modelling processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to project teams, fostering continuous improvement and BIM literacy within the studio
- Coordinate with the Melbourne-based BIM Manager to align strategies, share best practices, and support studio-wide BIM initiatives
- Facilitate workflows that support sustainable and efficient project delivery, minimising clash issues and streamlining communication
- Stay abreast of emerging BIM technologies and industry standards, championing innovation and continuous skills development
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in BIM management within architecture, urban design, or related fields, preferably on complex urban projects
- Excellent proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and related BIM software, with an ability to troubleshoot and optimise models
- Proven track record of implementing BIM standards on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and educate multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working in Australia or internationally on high-profile, publicly sensitive projects is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders
