This is a full time, management-level position for an experienced, hands-on, positive and reliable Interior Designer to work directly with the Principal on all aspects of design and project management. This Designer is expected to translate the Principal's aesthetic vision into client presentations, communicate project design both verbally and visually, and embody the spirit and professionalism of the firm. This Designer will manage the work and professional development of Associate Designers and Design Assistants, and lead the Design Team at large. Qualification Standards: - Degree in Interior Design. - Minimum of 7 years interior design experience. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, including space planning, hand and digital drafting. - Extensive experience selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials, and finishes. - Provides top-level innovative design concepts. - Experience with managing purchasing and budgets. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Studio Designer experience. - Can work under pressure, produce deliverables and meet deadlines. - Experience managing design staff on project teams. - Current driver's license with access to car.
