Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Level Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. Duties
Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for residential projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Create detailed construction documentation and drafting for renovation and remodeling projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to building codes.
Generate compelling 3D models and renderings using tools like 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize design ideas effectively.
Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs are compliant with local regulations and safety standards.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously by coordinating timelines, budgets, and client communications to deliver exceptional results on schedule.
Prepare CAD presentations and graphic design materials to communicate design concepts clearly to clients and contractors.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, present design options, and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in selecting finishes, lighting solutions—including lighting sales—and color schemes based on color theory principles to enhance interior aesthetics.
Contribute to construction detail documentation by drafting precise details that facilitate seamless project execution.
Support project management activities such as budgeting, contract management, and overseeing renovation or remodeling processes from inception to completion.
Qualifications
Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong skills in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering techniques that bring concepts to life visually.
Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project coordination.
Familiarity with building code compliance, construction detail documentation, and managing design projects from concept through completion.
Experience in residential interior design projects with an understanding of renovation processes and construction experience preferred.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining attention to detail within budget constraints.
Knowledge of lighting design principles and experience in lighting sales or selection is a plus.
