Job Title: Community Manager (PM)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and creative Community Manager to oversee programming at our office property, enhancing the experience for tenants and visitors. This is a contract-only position for short-term leave, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will bring a hospitable personality, exceptional business acumen, and tech-savviness to manage events focused on the life-science industry and provide exemplary concierge services.
Responsibilities- Create and manage programming to foster a sense of community among tenants and visitors.
- Oversee conference and event spaces, ensuring smooth operation and satisfaction.
- Manage the admin portal of the property app, ensuring brand consistency and promoting usage.
- Plan and execute social and networking events, specifically targeting the life-science industry.
- Design and produce internal marketing collateral for property programming and events.
- Serve as an informational resource, assisting tenants with event, meeting, and service arrangements.
- Negotiate contracts with local vendors for optimal pricing and services.
- Maintain accurate reports detailing client requests and billing services to tenants.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 1 year of event planning experience.
- Social media proficiency and comfort with platforms.
- Customer service or receptionist experience for at least 1 year.
- Proven marketing and event planning skills.
- Ability to engage a diverse tenant and visitor demographic.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, iOS functions, and marketing or graphic design software.

Work EnvironmentThe position is based at Revolution Labs in Lexington, MA, with occasional work at Lexington Labs. The role requires a flexible schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Business casual attire is expected. Free parking is available onsite. Interviews will be conducted virtually in two rounds.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Newton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $49.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
