Stephens Design Group is a high-end interior design studio specializing in luxury residential interiors. Our current projects span New York City, the Hamptons, Aspen, Palm Beach, London and Portugal. We deliver thoughtfully detailed, elevated interiors from concept through installation, and we're looking for a Junior Designer to join our growing team. We are seeking a Junior Designer who shares our passion for design and has the skills and drive to grow within our organization. Applicants should be personable, highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starters who are flexible enough to work on a variety of projects under the mentorship of the firm’s Senior Staff. Specific responsibilities may include: • AutoCAD drafting of furniture plans, elevations, and other drawings; • Assisting Senior Staff with selection of furniture, fixtures and finishes; • Assisting Senior Staff with preparation of furnishings proposals in Studio Designer; • Gathering quotes from vendors; • Placing and tracking orders; • Assisting in maintenance / organization of sample library; • Gathering / returning product samples; • Preparing presentation drawings / renderings; • Assisting in field surveying of client spaces; • Attending project meetings and providing documentation support; • Assisting with project installations
