Job Title: Design Assistant
Department: Bluejack Ranch Design
Directly Reports To: Interior Designer
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design packages and new construction selections
- Research product, obtain samples, coordinate with vendors
- Maintain Design Center library
- Schedule client appointments
- Space planning on current and future builds
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Sketchup
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter who catches on quickly and takes initiative
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required; a technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent mechanical experience is preferred.
APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.

Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 915 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. The employee may be working evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules based on event needs. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
