An award-winning multidisciplinary design studio is looking for a talented Visual Designer to join its collaborative team. Working across a diverse range of urban design, landscape architecture, and planning projects, you'll have the opportunity to shape the visual identity of some of Queensland's most exciting developments while contributing to meaningful projects that positively impact communities.

The Role
As part of a multidisciplinary design team, you'll contribute to the creative direction and delivery of projects from concept through to completion. You'll create engaging visual communications that help tell the story of projects across print, digital, and environmental platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing branding concepts, visual identities, and style guides.
Designing publications, presentations, marketing collateral, and digital content.
Creating signage, wayfinding, illustrative maps, infographics, iconography, and other visual communication materials.
Producing motion graphics and video content where appropriate.
Translating complex technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand visual outcomes.
Assisting with proposal and tender submissions, ensuring high-quality document design and layout.
Building and maintaining a library of digital and visual design assets.
Collaborating closely with architects, landscape architects, planners, and marketing teams to deliver creative project outcomes.
Contributing to the ongoing development and promotion of the studio's brand.
About You
You'll be a creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
Ideally you'll have:
A tertiary qualification in Visual Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline.
A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technically well-executed design work.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
A solid understanding of typography, layout, branding, and visual communication principles.
Experience delivering creative outcomes across both print and digital platforms.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
Highly Regarded
Experience working within architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, planning, or the built environment.
Skills in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro.
Experience preparing proposals, bids, or tender submissions.
