Part-Time Junior Interior Designer: J.Fisher Interiors is seeking a talented, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our boutique luxury residential design studio in Austin. This is an opportunity to work directly with the Principal Designer on custom homes, large-scale renovations, and full-service furnishing projects. Our work is highly detailed, collaborative, and design-driven, requiring someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of interior design. This is a part-time, in-studio position working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Responsibilities: Source and specify furniture, lighting, plumbing, hardware, textiles, accessories, and finish materials Prepare design presentations, mood boards, specifications, and client proposals Produce architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and cabinetry details in AutoCAD Create 3D models and visualizations in SketchUp Assist with space planning and furniture layouts Develop and maintain paint, tile, plumbing, lighting, hardware, cabinetry, and finish schedules Communicate professionally with vendors, contractors, workrooms, sales representatives, and clients Request pricing, lead times, product specifications, shop drawings, and samples from vendors Assist with procurement, order tracking, freight coordination, and resolving vendor issues Attend site visits to verify field conditions, take measurements, and document project progress Assist with installation days by organizing deliveries, inspecting merchandise, styling spaces, and ensuring every detail is completed to our standards Organize and maintain the studio's materials library and sample inventory Assist with project photography, website updates, newsletters, and social media content Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
