As a Procurement Manager at RXO,you will handle transportation procurement functions, including developing new carrier sources, conducting bids, and selecting carriers. What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop understanding of the customer and theirlogisticsneeds through customer calls, interaction with sales team, research, correspondence, etc.
Onboard carriers that expand service offerings such as international, temperature control, special equipment, etc.
Prepare bid package for carriers, including cover letter, customer profile, freight profile, locations, photos, operational considerations, pricing requirements and targets, fuel table, and accessorial target costs
