This highly regarded multidisciplinary design practice is seeking a Proposal Manager to support business development efforts across North and South America. The role is responsible for leading strategic pursuits, including the development of compelling responses to public and private RFPs, award submissions, speaking engagements, and other opportunities that contribute to the firm's growth. Working closely with the business strategy and communications team, the successful candidate will help position the firm for success in competitive markets spanning architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, interiors, branding, and product design. The position involves creating tailored marketing and pursuit materials, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and collaborating with senior leadership to advance the firm's strategic and business objectives. Reporting directly to the head of business strategy and partnerships, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the firm's profile and expanding its project portfolio across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the proposal and pursuit process, including responses to RFPs and RFQs.
Coordinate proposal teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
Develop compelling project narratives, design approach statements, and client-facing content.
Manage interview presentations, award submissions, and business development materials.
Maintain marketing assets, content libraries, and proposal resources.
Collaborate with firm leadership to support strategic business development initiatives.
Serve as a liaison across multiple studios and disciplines to ensure consistency and quality.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality marketing materials and client communications.
Skills & Experience:
Several years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or proposal management.
Experience within architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, construction, or other design-focused industries preferred.
Strong writing, editing, project management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience preparing proposals, presentations, award submissions, and marketing collateral.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and marketing technologies.
