Your Opportunity
The primary role of the Interior Design Co-Op will be to work with Interior Designers on project work. Our Interior Designers are expected to work collaboratively with the architectural team, conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of interior design of a project, including but not limited to space planning, interior architecture, interior materials and palette, specifications and FFE.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Incorporate mark-ups/red lines on documents for Interior Designers and Architects.
- Prepare presentation and finish boards.
- Order architecture/interior samples.
- Assist Resource Coordinator including:
• File product samples and literature
• Coordinate, attend informal and luncheon product presentations
• Compose new product displays
• Contact manufacturers to obtain updated materials
• Attend product update meetings with manufacturer’s product specialists
• Assist product specialists with yearly maintenance of extensive sampling collections
• Edit, re-organize extensive materials collections in collaboration with Resource Coordinator and senior designers
• Tend to various administrative tasks related to Resource Center operations and project filing/ archiving
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
