A well-established AJ100 architectural practice is looking to appoint a Project Architect to join its growing team in Altrincham, following the award of several new leisure and sports projects nationwide.
The studio works across a range of community, leisure and public-sector schemes, delivering technically considered, design-led projects with a strong focus on user experience, sustainability and performance. This role would suit an architect with previous sports/leisure experience who is confident leading projects, managing clients and coordinating teams through all RIBA stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept through to delivery
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders
- Manage project programmes and ensure key deadlines are achieved
- Attend and lead client meetings
- Support the delivery of high-quality technical and design output
Skills and Experience
- ARB registered Architect with circa 5+ years post-Part 3 experience
- Previous experience working on leisure/sports projects
- Good understanding of Sport England guidance and standards
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
- Confident managing projects and client relationships
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and technical ability
