About the Role:
Join Home Central as a Kitchen Design / Inside Sales Support specialist, where creativity meets customer service! Depending on the customer, you may work on a remodeling project to update an existing home or start scratch to create a custom interior design for a residential or commercial space. Our ideal candidate knows the intricacies of bath and kitchen design projects. Having previous design experience, experience in sales, and working in a showroom is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
- Assist in creating detailed kitchen designs using design software.
- Provide inside sales support by answering customer inquiries and processing orders, both in person and over the phone.
- Arrange and help coordinate a timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice.
- Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional events and activities.
- Work with contractors to build out the design.
- Keep customers and contractors up to date and informed regarding any plan changes or delays in progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience in kitchen design or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in design software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and design principles.
- Sales experience is a plus, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible work hours based on comfortable needs.
- Knowledge of millwork and construction preferred.
