Role Summary
Jessica Koltun Home is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to guide residential design projects from early concepts through completion. You will bring a thoughtful design perspective, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to translate clients’ needs into cohesive, well-executed interiors. You will collaborate with clients and project partners while helping maintain the quality and intent of each design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of residential design concepts, presentations, and material palettes.
- Meet with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and project requirements, and communicate design recommendations clearly.
- Develop space plans and support the selection of furnishings, finishes, lighting, and accessories.
- Prepare and review design documentation, specifications, and project materials for accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate with vendors and other project partners to support sourcing, procurement, and implementation.
- Manage project schedules and priorities, monitor progress, and help resolve design or delivery challenges.
- Provide guidance to team members and contribute to a collaborative, detail-oriented design process.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in interior design, with substantial experience in residential projects.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong design judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to develop cohesive interiors.
- Proficiency with relevant design and presentation tools, and confidence preparing design documentation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with clients, colleagues, and project partners.
