We’re supporting a specialist supply chain and operations consultancy on strategic procurement engagements, helping clients reduce cost, improve supplier performance and build more effective, data-led procurement functions. The work spans spend analysis, category strategy, sourcing, supplier optimisation and implementation of sustainable procurement improvements.

Tasks
- Analyse spend, supplier and category data to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities
- Develop and implement category, sourcing and supplier optimisation strategies with cross-functional client teams
- Establish robust procurement processes, performance tracking and governance to ensure savings and benefits are sustained
Requirements
- An independent consultant
- 5+ years’ experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management
- Strong experience in spend analysis, supplier management and cost reduction
- Consulting experience preferred, with strong client and stakeholder management skills
