You'll build a loyal roster of designer and architect clients who call MADE first when a project needs textiles, wallcoverings, furniture, lighting, or rugs. You'll be a known, trusted face in the local design community — someone who shows up, follows through, and makes ordering painless from quote to delivery. You'll understand your clients' aesthetics and project needs well enough to recommend the right product before they even ask, and you'll have built the kind of order-tracking discipline that keeps projects on schedule and clients coming back. You'll own a client list of designers, architects, and other trade professionals — understanding each one's project needs, aesthetic, and preferences well enough to recommend the right products from the lines we represent. Proactively reach out to prospective and existing clients to bring them into the showroom and grow your book of business. Process your own sales orders from quote through placement, keeping specs, quantities, and pricing accurate. Track every open order closely and follow up diligently with vendors and clients so orders stay on schedule and issues get caught early. Follow up with clients after their order is delivered or installed to confirm satisfaction and resolve anything that comes up. Partner with the other salespeople on the floor to manage showroom traffic, walk-ins, calls, and inquiries so every client gets timely, attentive service. Work with the Showroom Coordinator to help maintain the showroom's visual merchandising and presentation standards
