Project Manager – Workplace / Tenant Improvement Projects

A highly regarded, design-led architecture and interiors studio in San Francisco is seeking a Project Manager to lead tenant improvement and landlord projects across the Bay Area.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within a collaborative studio delivering high-quality workplace environments for leading clients and developers.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of projects—leading from concept through construction—while managing clients, consultants, and internal teams.
This is not a back-seat PM role. You’ll be front and center, driving delivery, maintaining design intent, and keeping projects moving commercially and technically.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading tenant improvement and landlord repositioning projects end-to-end
- Managing clients, consultants, and contractor coordination
- Overseeing documentation, permitting, and construction administration
- Driving programme, budget, and delivery timelines
- Maintaining design quality through execution
- Acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
What They’re Looking For
- 8–12+ years’ experience in architecture/interiors
- Strong background in workplace / commercial interiors / tenant improvement projects
- Proven experience across all phases, including construction administration
- Solid knowledge of Bay Area permitting and building codes
- Strong Revit skills
- Confident, client-facing, and commercially aware
