Hino Studio is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Interior Designer to join our growing design studio. We are looking for someone with a refined design sensibility, strong technical expertise, and the ability to confidently lead projects from concept through installation. Our work is rooted in creating thoughtful, timeless interiors with a contemporary point of view. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a strong creative concept and managing the technical and organizational demands required to execute it beautifully. Responsibilities Lead residential interior design projects through all phases, from concept development and schematic design through construction administration and installation. Develop space plans, furniture layouts, material palettes, custom millwork, lighting, and architectural details. Produce and oversee detailed drawing sets, specifications, schedules, and presentation materials. Source and specify furniture, lighting, finishes, fabrics, fixtures, and accessories. Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, fabricators, vendors, consultants, and clients. Review shop drawings, samples, submittals, and construction progress to maintain design intent. Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple active projects. Mentor and provide direction to junior designers while collaborating closely with the studio principals. Participate in client presentations, site meetings, installations, and styling. Qualifications 5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably with high-end residential projects. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Exceptional design judgment and a sophisticated understanding of scale, proportion, color, materials, and detailing. Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
