We're looking for an Assistant Manager who is equal parts enthusiast, operator, and storyteller. Reporting directly to the Store Director, you will be a key presence on the floor and a dependable steward of the Marquet experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who moves through a store with purpose: styling a shelf, helping a customer find exactly the right thing, capturing a moment worth sharing. You have an eye for beauty and a mind for business. WHAT YOU'LL DO Support the Floor & Customer Experience Deliver the warm, unhurried, discovery-led experience that defines Marquet, for every visitor, every time. Maintain the visual integrity of each room: product placement, cleanliness, and display always to standard. Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and any issues with graciousness and efficiency. Be a consistent, energizing presence on the sales floor, including weekends. Tell the Marquet Story Actively engage with Marquet's social media presence, capturing product, people, and the life of the store with a point of view. Contribute to the visual and narrative language of the brand across Instagram and other platforms. Help draft customer communications and support in-store events and activations. Operations & Inventory Support day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures, POS, and cash handling. Assist with inventory processes: receiving, tagging, restocking, and maintaining accurate stock levels. Partner with the Store Director and Jenny on merchandising, buying, and restocking decisions. If you see something that needs doing, you do it. No task is beneath you. We all have a “sweep the floor” mentality. Grow with the Business Develop a deep understanding of Marquet's product assortment, brand voice, and customer. Bring curiosity to the business side of retail: sales patterns, product performance, what's resonating. Grow into increased responsibility over time as the team and business develop.
