Board & Vellum is looking for an experienced designer to join our Interior Design studio. You will primarily focus on residential interiors for single‑family clients, and you will bring depth, judgment, and mentorship to a team working across custom residential, multifamily, commercial, and civic projects. We’re a dynamic architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture studio located in Seattle, Washington, where collaboration, creativity, and storytelling shape everything we do. We’re looking for someone who pairs beautiful, thoughtful design work with the technical precision and client fluency that only comes with experience. As a firm practicing across diverse sectors, our studio harnesses a systematic approach and applies it not only to our multifamily and commercial work, but to our custom residential work as well. You Will: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to develop design concepts and documentation, ensuring alignment with client goals and project narratives. Pull beautiful design packages together, help curate gorgeous material palettes, and create work that you are proud of. Take ownership of your role producing project deliverables and engaging in project management tasks (with oversight), focusing on accuracy, quality, and meeting deadlines. Produce design documentation and technical drawings using Revit with precision and efficiency. Participate in a collaborative studio culture where your voice and ideas are welcome.
