This full-time position is based in Glencoe, IL, but allows flexibility to work from home every Friday. Light travel is also required. - Managing multiple high-end residential client projects (5-8) at different phases, shepherding the client from design development through to completion of construction and final installation - Managing ongoing project deliverables for clients, contractors, architects and builders - Managing junior designers or project managers and procurement team - Finish and fixtures selections and specifications for high-end kitchen and bath remodeling projects, as well as full furnishing design - Develop technical drawings, design boards and other visual communication techniques to communicate and sell an overall design concept - Keen ability to get clients to trust you and make decisions and move projects forward with success and client satisfaction in mind - Manage project budgets and timelines - Develop construction documents, elevation drawings, millwork drawings, plumbing and electrical schematics, details, schedules and specs - Project management and administration throughout construction
