The Regional Procurement Manager will work with the Procurement Operations to manage the flow of non-inventory goods including warehouse supplies, office supplies, corrugate, safety equipment, tools, and material handling requests.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and manage a direct team of Procurement Operations salaried professionals and Non-Inventory hourly associates across multiple buildings, ensuring network-wide standardization for all procurement processes and FC service activities. Oversee complex supply chain management aspects of procurement within Amazon, supporting the Operations Lead for Procurement within building and network projects.
• Coordinate the identification of demand, procurement, and inventory management for all non-merchandise items required for Fulfillment Center (FC) operations.
• Develop and leverage demand forecasting models to support operational planning.
• Establish procurement order streams to align supply with demand on a Just-in-Time (JIT) basis.
• Collaborate with Non-Inventory Receivers and FC Management to manage storage, labor, and flow through dock and yard areas for Non-Inventory supplies.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
• Develop and track metrics to measure operational readiness and Non-Inventory performance.
• Ensure contract compliance for key categories of spend and suppliers.
• Manage escalations with key stakeholders across assigned region.
• Administer and oversee local and national contracts for supplies and services.
• Resolve payment issues with vendors and accounts payable teams.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to influence spending decisions in a cost-effective manner.
• Assist in managing and controlling Fixed Costs.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve annual savings in fixed and supply costs.
• Collaborate with Procurement teams across the network to implement best practices and ensure consistency between buildings.
• Oversee the Procure to Pay process, including requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Capital Authorization Requests (CAR).
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager
• This position requires regular travel to assigned site(s); travel distances may exceed 50 miles depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supply chain management (e.g. logistics, inventory turn management, forecasting, operations) experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Experience in supplier relationship management (e.g. SLAs management, performance/scorecarding)
- Experience with ERP and procurement tools, including Oracle, Coupa and Ariba
- Intermediate/Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- 1+ years of directly managing employees and performance, or 3+ years as an IC within the same domain or job family
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA degree or above in related fields
- Experience with cost accounting
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
- Supply Chain Management Certifications (e.g. CSCMP)
- Project Management proficiency, including Asana
- Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Provide a positive customer experience internally and externally

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
