The Sr. Visual Merchandising Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of Callaway and Odyssey visual merchandising strategies across retail environments. This role bridges strategy and execution by managing merchandising initiatives, supporting fixture programs, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring consistent brand presentation across accounts. Working cross-functionally with Retail Marketing, Design, Sales, and external vendors, this position helps bring retail experiences to life while maintaining operational excellence across fixture programs, launch support, and in-store merchandising initiatives. The Sr. Coordinator is expected to operate with increased ownership, proactively managing projects, identifying process improvements, and ensuring retail merchandising programs are executed efficiently and at a high standard.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the implementation of merchandising initiatives for Callaway, Odyssey, and additional partnered brands as needed
- Support the execution of visual merchandising strategies and retail initiatives for Callaway, Odyssey, and additional partnered brands.
- Coordinate retail merchandising projects including fixture programs, launch support elements, and retail environment updates
- Manage and maintain the retail database with accurate fixture placement, store information, and installation updates
- Support fixture ordering, distribution tracking, and program management to ensure timely and accurate delivery to accounts
- Partner with vendors to coordinate quoting, timelines, production, and installation logistics
- Assist in briefing temporary fixtures, signage, and launch support materials with Design and external vendors
- Track project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments related to merchandising initiatives
- Maintain sales-facing tools and resources including merchandising updates, fixture documentation, and installation calendars
- Conduct competitive retail research and monitor merchandising trends across the industry
- Support internal communication and cross-functional coordination between Retail Marketing, Design Operations, Sales, Finance, and external partners
- Assist with retail environment reviews and provide insights to help elevate visual standards and brand presentation
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, reporting, and processes that support merchandising execution
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Advanced user of MS Office suite
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
- Experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar tools
- Strong project coordination and vendor management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners
- Ability to analyze retail environments and provide recommendations to improve visual execution
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Merchandising, Communications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in retail visual merchandising, marketing operations, or related field
- Consumer product and or sporting goods background preferred
- Interest in golf and knowledge of the golf industry highly preferred
