Responsibilities

Uses Point of Sale software on computerized cash register; serves as liaison with IT for updates and issues. Overseeing ordering and maintaining of inventory in conjunction with management. This includes both online and in person at wholesale markets. Ensures that merchandise is properly received, priced and inventoried or distributed to gift shop or requesting department. Supervises gift shop employees and volunteers. Maintains department staff schedule ensuring coverage of shop during regular hours of operation and for special events. Communicate and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families, healthcare team and staff in person and via telephone. Completes register closing logs at end of day and prepare deposit. Accepts and completes all duties positively and without conflict. Maintains office filing system and billing for gift shop Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards Regular and prompt attendance Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required Related duties as assigned
Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of retail experience Required Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
