The Role
You will own North American chocolate and tropical oils procurement end to end—deciding what to buy, where, how, and when—while building future fit supplier partnerships that deliver value, sustainability, and supply security. You will sit at the intersection of markets, brands, suppliers, and risk, turning strategy into measurable impact.

What You’ll Be Accountable For
• Lead global sourcing and risk strategy for commodities, balancing cost, security, and sustainability
• Build and manage long term, strategic supplier partnerships aligned to value, carbon reduction, and innovation
• Act as a global partner to Values Led brands (e.g. Ben & Jerry’s), advancing low carbon sourcing and supplier diversity
• Translate market intelligence into price outlooks, budgets, and risk strategies, working closely with CPRM on hedging and exposure management
• Enable innovation and NPD by working seamlessly with R&D, Supply Chain, and Brand teams
• Drive complexity reduction, specification harmonisation, and working capital improvement
• Lead supplier performance, crisis management, and continuous improvement
• Deliver tangible savings, cash impact, and operational excellence—year after year
• Develop, coach, and inspire high performing procurement talent

Required Experience & Expertise

Minimum 5 years of experience in physical commodity procurement, sourcing, trading, or supply risk management, with direct ownership of buy decisions
Demonstrated knowledge of cocoa markets, including supply/demand dynamics, pricing drivers, sustainability considerations, and risk exposure
Proven experience owning end‑to‑end procurement strategy—deciding what to buy, where, how, and when—across volatile, global supply chains
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering year‑on‑year value through cost, cash, and risk optimization
Experience translating market intelligence into pricing outlooks, budgets, and risk strategies, including close collaboration with risk management or hedging partners
Ability to operate confidently at the intersection of markets, suppliers, brands, and internal stakeholders, turning strategy into measurable results
Demonstrated success managing supplier performance, crisis response, and continuous improvement

Preferred Experience

Experience sourcing or procuring Tropical Oils (e.g., palm, palm kernel, coconut) in addition to cocoa/chocolate inputs
Background in CPG, food manufacturing, or a commodity trade house
Exposure to Values‑Led or premium brands, supporting sustainability, supplier diversity, and low‑carbon sourcing initiatives
Experience enabling innovation and NPD, partnering closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Brand teams
Prior involvement in large‑scale transformation, complexity reduction, or specification harmonisation initiatives
Experience working with commodity risk management and hedging strategies (e.g. price risk, exposure management), with the ability to partner effectively with risk, finance, and treasury teams.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $98,200to$147,200.The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC)takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
