Key Responsibilities

Design and detail cold-formed metal framing systems for commercial and residential developments.
Prepare accurate structural framing layouts, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
Coordinate project deliverables from concept design through project completion.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
Support panelization efforts and optimize framing solutions for constructability and efficiency.
Review and resolve design conflicts and field-related issues during project execution.

Requirements

Proven experience in cold-formed metal design and detailing.
Strong understanding of structural framing systems and panelization.
Experience coordinating construction documentation throughout all project phases.
Proficiency with relevant design and detailing software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on a mix of commercial and residential projects.
Knowledge of applicable cold-formed metal design standards and building codes.
Familiarity with BIM and advanced detailing workflows.
